The LA Lakers Visit the Inland Empire

(Ontario, CA)  The LA Lakers faced the talented “Splash Brothers” pka The Golden State Warriors, Sunday October 12th. 2014. This was the first of two trips to Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Ca. Last year Kobe Bryant was injured during Inland Empire stop, so the fans were super excited the see the 19 year veteran return! However, The Golden State Warriors didn’t make the trip to be spectators, they went up 20 points in the first quarter and never looked back.

Steph Curry scored 12 of his 25 points in the first 2 1/2 minutes, helping the Golden State Warriors get off to a fast start and beat the banged-up Los Angeles Lakers 116-75 in a preseason game Sunday night. The Warriors shot 56.2 percent from the floor Sunday and dished out 33 assists on 41 made field goals. Lakers leading scorer was Scare with 17 points.  Kobe Bryant was being defended by Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes, went 3-13 (6pts), 5 assist, 4 steals and 1 block.

During Sunday night’s game against the Warriors, Ronnie Price’s Lakers tenure got off to a bad start. He lost his shoe (and the ball), tripped and then once he recovered his shoe, he threw it towards Warriors’ swingman Andrew Iguodala. Take a look at our coverage game, Courtesy of the LA Lakers.
