(Los Angeles, CA) Sacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2018 Mtn Dew Kickstart Rising Stars after leading the World Team to a 155-124 victory over the U.S. Team.

Bogdanovic received 51⁄2 of seven possible votes from a six-member media panel and the fans, who counted as one vote.

BUDDY HIELD:  Oh, you know, I’m just blessed to be here, of course. I just thank God for the opportunity of being here. A lot of people don’t get to be here. You can’t take this opportunity for granted. A lot of guys around the world wish they could be in this position right now.
