The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario today announced that the team has selected three players in the 2017 G League Draft.
Round 1, 15th overall pick: Tyler Roberson
Round 2, 25th overall pick: Tyler Harris
Round 3, 67th overall pick: Josh Sykes
Roberson, 23, played four seasons at Syracuse University, before going undrafted in 2017. The 6’8″, 225 pound forward appeared in 34 games (six starts), and averaged 5.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 20.4 minutes in his senior season. Roberson appeared in one game for the Milwaukee Bucks at the 2017 Las Vegas NBA Summer League, and tallied four rebounds in 17:00 minutes.
Harris, 24, played four collegiate seasons, spending his senior season at Auburn after transferring from the University of Providence via North Carolina University, before going undrafted in 2016. The 6’10”, 228 pound forward appeared in 30 games (29 starts) and averaged 13.9 points and 7.7 rebounds in 28.4 minutes in his senior season at Auburn. Harris appeared in 40 games for Paris-Levallois Basket of the French Pro A League, in 2016-17 and averaged 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in 19.0 minutes.
Sykes, 21, played two collegiate seasons at Fresno City Community College. The 6’8″, 190 pound forward appeared in 33 games (11 starts) averaged 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in 16.8 minutes in his sophomore season at Fresno City.
