Agua Caliente Clippers Game Recap 11/17/17

RENO, NV—The Agua Caliente Clippers fell to the Reno Bighorns, 110-103, at the Reno Events Center on Friday night. Despite outrebounding Reno 56-46 and holding the Bighorns to 40% shooting from the field, the loss sends the Clippers to .500 early in the season.

After three quarters of play that saw Reno leading by just one point, Aaron Harrison hit a three to put the Bighorns up by 10 with 1:35 left to play. The Clippers managed to pull within four points with 38 seconds on the clock, thanks to a three-point play from Ike Iroegbu, but it wouldn’t be enough, as Reno went 3-4 from the free throw line in the final seconds to secure the win.

Tyrone Wallace led the Clippers with 18 points, while Iroegbue added 17. Marshall Plumlee recorded his first double-double of the season, scoring 10 points and pulling down 12 rebounds to lead the Clippers rebounding effort. For the Bighorns, Harrison led the way with 32 points.

The Clippers return home Tuesday to take on the Long Island Nets in a 7 p.m. tip at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
