(Long Beach, CA) The Cajon Cowboys girls basketball team was victorious in Saturday’s state Division II regional game against the Mater Dei Monarchs by a score of 51-30. Senior standout Kayla Washington (Washington State commit – Avg: 22pts – 13rbs) led the Cowgirls scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. One half of the Turner Twins, Tyla Turner contributed 12 points (Avg: 13pts – 4sts)
Next stop for Coach Mark Lehman and the Cowgirls, Sacramento, CA (State Championship!) on Saturday, March 26 at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.
